Rabita Committee of MQM (Muttahidda Qaumi Movement) held
press conference today. Syed Mustafa Kamal tries to brushed aside the allegations
leveled by former Sindh home minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza.
MQM seemed to
be on back foot, that’s what might President Asif Ali Zardari wants to be. Press
conference is for MQM’s constituency (Muhajirs), it felt. They want their constituency
intact after the allegations put on them first by Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza followed
by electronic media through their programs and talk shows for last ten days.
MQM and electronic media are going face-to-face in coming
days.
